The EFA-21254 is based on the CSRA6620 chipset from Qualcomm. The DDFA (Direct Digital Feedback Amplifier) compares the output signal with input signal and the integrated DSP compensates all differences. This gives a very clear, crisp sound.
The on-chip DSP can also be used for cross over and tuning of the speakers.
The great sounding class D amplifier is combined with a switch mode power supply on a very compact board.
