This was the slogan of PONTIS, the brand under which Erich Böhm, founder of Audivo, sold the world’s first portable MP3 players from the first prototype in 1995 until even more innovative products were designed by Erich Böhm and his team.
Some of the original team members are still with us.

Today, we employ a multinational team of engineers from Brazil, Russia, Serbia and Turkey alongside App developers in Ukraine and an office in Nanjing China.

Our HQ is located in the small town of Schwarzenfeld in the Bavarian countryside.
Audivo is the parent company with two main branches: Audio and EMC.
For the EMC business we retain the brand PONTIS EMC (more on pontis-emc.com).

Our team works for both branches which enables us to leverage the experience of both market sectors.
